ANOTHER CHALLENGE

I have decided to issue myself another challenge. In the interest of using the stamps I have, I have decided I will start at the beginning, (I store them in alphabetical order) and use every one. I will start with the wood mounted currents, I have the clear, sentiments, backgrounds and retired sets separately...also in alpha order.

I saw a card with similar colors and was totally inspired!

Cardstock: Soft Suede and Whisper White

Ink: Cajun Craze and Soft Suede

Stamp Sets: Always and En Francais

DSP: Play Date and Cajun Craze from Regals Pack

Punches: Dotted Scallop, Scallop Circle, Boho Blossom, and Sizzix Circle #2

I also used clear embossing powder, the paper piercer, satin ribbon andn a vintage brad.

COLOURQ CHALLENGE #76

Cardstock: Kiwi Kiss, Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Whisper White

Ink: Versamark, Early Espresso and Daffodil Delight

Stamp Set: Fifth Avenue Floral

I also used a retired Old Olive ribbon and the Round Tab punch

Ink: Crumb Cake

I used the Versamarker to trace over the H & B then embossed with clear embossing powder. I also used So Saffron brads.

Punches: 3/4", 1' cirlcles, and Decorative Label

Ink: Versamark and Early Espresso

Stamps: Warmest Wished and Holiday Tag Time

Inks: Stazon Jet Black, Basic Black, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, and Versamark

I also used clear embossing powder, the Top Note Die cut and a retired red polka dot ribbon

DSP: Retired Christmas

Ink: Early Espresso ( I love to rub those edges!)

Markers: Early Espresso, Old Olive and Real Red

Punch: Decorative Label and Large Oval

Stamp Set: Christmas Punch

I also used the Paper Piercer for the edges of the Espresso cardstock and around the Oval and Rhinestones.

Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, and Whisper White

DSP and Ribbon are from SAB

Ink: Certainly Celery, So Saffron, and Marina Mist

I rubbed the edges of the paper with Marina Mist, used the Scallop punch and added Rhinestones to center of the flowers.

INKSPIRATION SKETCH CHALLENGE #61

CHRISTMAS CARD #1

This is a combo. The layout is for http://www.inkspirations-challenges.blogspot.com/ and my first Chrismas card for my challenge.

Cardstock: Old Olive, Ridinghood Red, Bashful Blue,and Whisper White

DSP: Holiday Thyme

Ink: Stazon Jet Black and Early Espresso

Markers: Ridinghood Red, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive

Stamps: It's Snow Time

Edges where rubbed with sponge, glue pen and glitter where put on snowball and on snow mound. Modern Label Punch, White ribbon, and Metallics brad

PERSONAL CHALLENGE

I've decided to issue myself a personal challenge. I must complete 52 (1 per week--I will have to catch up on 9) Christmas cards. They will all have to be from a different Christmas set. (yes I actually have 52 Chrismas sets... yikes!) With that in mind, I will have a very small amount of cards to make during the busy holiday season. I will still have to make my cards for card classes and complete the weekly challenges I started participating in. No problem! I will count them off as they are posted...stay tuned!
