MARKERS: baha breeze, so saffron, pear pizzazz, poppy parade, and early espresso

Edges of papers are rubbed with early espresso.

FRAMED ART

Made a make-n-take at my scrapbook store, with the altered frame.

Went to $ store and got frames 2 for a $1 and a dictionary and altered my own. Used Stampin Up! supplies for image. Will look nice changed out for the holidays.

The patterned paper, letter stickers and the other stickers---all scraps. Yeah, it really helps when you save EVERYTHING!!!!

This is for my http://www.apronstringsdesigns.blogspot.com/ challenge, Christmas in July. It was close, we went to Santa's workshop in early Aug. I have 2 girls and I do albums for each of them, we took this trip twice and they loved it so there are many pics to help them always remember, so you can imagine how many layouts I've had to do. These challenges have helped alot with working on xmas in summer.

We went camping with some friends, and typically it rained most of the trip! These were the only pics I got, and the lighting was bad for these also.

APRON STRINGS CHALLENGE ASSIGNMENT #13

I totally missed the cutoff for this one at http://www.apronstringsdesigns.blogspot.com/ It was to distress, tear something on your layout. Even though I missed the date to submit I needed to do it anyway, just so I can say I've done them all! I was really happy with how this turned out. I used my distress tool on the mats, and I crumpled the green stips.

This is my take on http://www.apronstringsdesigns.blogspot.com/ layout. It actually turned out pretty good, I was worried, I dont normally do a single picture on a page. I guess that's why they are called challenges, they are trying to get us to work out of our comfort zone.

FRIENDS CHALLENGE #3

This is for a challenge I do with some friends. Behind the map of the Battleship NC I placed the photo of the ship. It was a blurry shot so I didnt want to make it too visible, this way when you remove the map, you can see the ship. The layout is from Nuts About Sketches.

This is my layout for http://www.apronstringsdesigns.blogspot.com/ challenge. We were to use a die cut of some sort on our page, so I used my new Cricut to cut the swirls on the side of the layout. Love this machine, dont know why I didnt get one sooner!
